The youthful Unam Ogongo team emerged as the weekend's sensation, demonstrating the kind of competitive spirit that has recently put Namibian athletes on the international stage. In a nail-biting encounter, they secured a 45-44 victory against the experienced Namibian Navy side, followed by an equally impressive 47-45 win over Tigers.
"The girls are simply delivering what they've been working on during training. It's all about sticking to the plan and keeping calm under pressure," stated Unam Ogongo's head coach Taapopi Sakupaula.
