Namibia Takes Bold Steps to Enhance Digital Security Infrastructure
The Namibia Cyber Security Incident Response Team (Nam-CSIRT) has demonstrated its commitment to fortifying the nation's cybersecurity framework through a recent Constituents Engagement event in Windhoek. This initiative marks a significant step in protecting Namibia's growing digital economy.
Strategic Framework for National Cyber Defense
Emilia Nghikembua, CEO of Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia and Nam-CSIRT head, emphasized the organization's collaborative approach with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. This partnership builds upon Namibia's strong tradition of security leadership.
"A National Computer Security Incident Response Team is not merely an institutional designation, but a pragmatic framework for collective defence," stated Nghikembua.
